How we screen suppliers
Every shortlist entry carries an evidence note
- What was checked — and when (a check from last year is stale and says so).
- What was confirmed vs what remains unverified — explicitly labeled.
The screening pass checks
- Product fit: does the factory actually make your item, at your quantity, for your market?
- Own workshop vs trading layer: many intermediaries are fine — but you'll know which you're meeting.
- Willingness to host: some strong factories decline small/new orders; we confirm hosting before you fly, not at the gate.
- Contact level: a sales rep for a first visit is fine; for real orders you need a decision-capable contact.
What stays outside our judgment
- Certification audits & quality verdicts — run by accredited inspectors (we coordinate, they certify).
- Deep engineering / legal questions — we arrange qualified specialists and say when a question exceeds our scope.
For suppliers: getting listed
Chinese suppliers apply via the Chinese application page. Every listed supplier keeps an evidence file; the page states what we verified and the date. We never present "verified" as our badge of honor — it's a documented record you can request at any time.
